Under certain conditions, your child can travel alone safely on our buses. Ask for the document "Child travelling alone" when you buy his ticket. A child must be at least eight to travel alone with us. Up to 12 years of age, a child travelling alone is not permitted to make connections outside our network, and you can purchase just a one-way ticket for him.
Lastly, for safety reasons, we prohibit children 12 and under to board and leave our buses in a city without an Acadian ticket agent.
What to do when a child travels alone ?

Get on the bus together. Put the child in his seat, show him how to find the toilet, and... make sure you inform the driver.
During the trip. Pack a bag with snacks, games and your child's favourite things to help the time go by fast.
Plan out your child's arrival. Who will meet him? Don't take any changes, call this person to confirm when the bus will be arriving. Also give his number to your child just in case…
